Insurance & Pricing

Do you accept my insurance?

At Denver Sports & Family Chiropractic Center, we work with all forms of insurance as an out-of-network provider. We require payment at the time of service and will provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Your insurance company will send you a check in the mail for what is covered by your plan. The reason we are not an in-network provider is because it limits the quality of care by dictating how many times we can see a patient and the type of care we can provide. We are able to provide the highest quality of care by being out of network, truly allowing us to serve our patients.

We are out-of-network

Instead of seeing a chiropractor several times a week for several months, we try to get you feeling great in as few visits as possible. Then, we give you the tools you need to be successful, without depending on your chiropractic treatment. Providers that agree to be in-network with insurance companies, agree to their standard reimbursement rate. Often times, they are forced to rush their treatments and see multiple patients at the same time. At DSFCC, we believe in spending quality time with each patient and providing the best care.

What should I expect on my first visit?

On your first visit, you can expect to have a conversation with the doctor about what’s bothering you and your goals with chiropractic care. Next you will receive a complete chiropractic, orthopedic and neurological examination to evaluate your health. Dr. Andrew does not x-ray all his patients, as in his experience most complaints are musculoskeletal and can be successfully treated without imaging. If the examination reveals red-flags, an appropriate referral for imaging or to another physician will be made.

At that point, he will discuss findings and make an appropriate recommendation for treatment. Depending on the patient’s specific complaint, treatments may include joint manipulation/mobilization, soft tissue therapy or rehabilitative exercise.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Please bring the proper change of clothing, shorts or tank tops, related to the area of complaint.

Can I use my HSA?

Yes, we accept HSA and can provide you with itemized receipts.
